Jette (pronounced 'Yetta') is the Great Dane of the team. Having played handball in her native country for a number of years, we thought she'd be a great asset to the team; trouble is, in handball you can run more than two steps with the ball and make physical contact with the opposition, both big no-no's in netball. Jette and her husband came to Thailand in 1999, after three years in Sri Lanka. She has two young daughters, both of which were born in Bangkok. They're some of our youngest supporters. Perhaps this is the start of a family tradition...
Oh yes, and in her spare time Jette's a teacher at an international school in Bangkok.
